Lead the Way NOW offers ICF Mentor Coaching
At Lead the Way, we are thrilled to be able to support, empower and give you the best Mentor Coaching experience possible! You will work with a dedicated ICF PCC level Coach to achieve the growth and credentialing/renewal requirements for ICF.
The ICF defines Mentor Coaching as providing professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency demanded by the desired credential level sought by a coach‐applicant (mentee). At Lead the Way, we provide mentor coaching that focuses on your skills development as a coach. We use a supportive, collaborative approach where the mentor coach is a thought partner in your development and we celebrate you and your growth.
We currently offer two formats for Mentor Coaching, either Group Mentoring Coaching or One-on-One Mentoring:

About Your Coach

Group Mentor Coaching:
Lead the Way will be offering over 10 hours of Group Mentor Coaching. Learning in small groups, of no more than 10, you will receive the following coach training both synchronously and asynchronously over a period of three months:

Five Group Coaching Sessions – 7.5 Hours in Total

In these 90-minute sessions, you will develop your skills through coaching, and being coached, by your mentor or peers.

We will focus on ensuring the ICF competencies are being met with feedback from your peers and your mentor.

Together we will review, discuss and unpack the ICF Code of Ethics

Your mentor coach will provide one-on-one conversation to discuss the feedback and to participate in coaching with the mentor, either to be coached or to practice coaching.

Together we will review and unpack the ICF, ACC or PCC markers to launch you successfully on your journey as an ICF Certified Coach.
Three One-on-One Sessions - 3 Hours in Total

Prior to your mentor coaching session, you will conduct and record your own 30-minute coaching calls with your clients (3 in total).

You will evaluate your own coaching conversations against the ICF Core Competencies and send them to your mentor coach.

Your mentor coach will provide written feedback and you'll have a one-on-one conversation (30 minutes) on each of your coaching sessions to provide feedback on the ICF competencies and to answer questions in a process that supports learning and development

Individual Mentor Coaching:
Lead the Way will be offering 10 hours of individual Mentor Coaching. Learning one-on-one, you will receive the following coach training both synchronously and asynchronously over a period of three months:

Five One-on-One Review Sessions - 5 Hours in Total

In these sessions, you will record and send to your mentor coach 5 coaching calls with your clients.

Your mentor coach will evaluate each of your coaching sessions and provide written feedback on the ICF competencies and answer any questions in a process that supports learning and development.

You will evaluate your own coaching sessions against the ICF Core Competencies in written feedback which will be reviewed and discussed with your mentor.
